Read more...Let's kick off the holiday season with some DIY fun! We will be making Christmas ornaments on Thursday, November 9th at 6:30 pm in the fellowship hall. Materials will be provided. Cost is $10 to make 4 ornaments. You may bring your own Christmas napkins or cotton Christmas fabric or use what is provided. Please RSVP to amy@waxhawumc.com so we can prepare enough materials and snacks.

Read more...Pastor Norma will host a time of prayer and meditation on Thursday evenings in the sanctuary beginning on August 31st. The time will be 6:30 pm to 7:15 pm. You are invited to come. Bring your family, your friends or just yourself. Pastor Norma will lead us and will read some scripture. She may even teach us a few things about prayer, meditation, and fasting and how these things can positively impact our spiritual and physical lives.

Read more...Join us on Sunday, June 25th to celebrate Pastor John and his family. We want to give them a warm sendoff as they begin a new chapter. We will miss having all of them at our church but wish them well as they journey on! We will grill hamburgers and hotdogs and ask that the congregation bring sides to go along with those. All are welcome to come, enjoy lunch and fellowship with the McGills. Our new volleyball court is finished so that will be available for play and we will also have corn hole boards out.
