So many times when we pray, we are asking God to be concerned about what is upon our hearts.  Our current sermon series asks the question: “What is the greatest concern on God’s heart?”  Spoiler alert: God’s number one concern are the all the people who have yet to discover his great love for them.  And God’s great hope is that we will join him on this mission – to carry his message of love and reconciliation.

On November 24th we will have our 6th Joshua Celebration.  At both the 9:00 and 11:00 services, we will celebrate what it means to live in community life together and how we can participate in God’s mission for our church.  On this special Sunday we will have new people join the church, give out our lay servant of the year award, and even pass out our new pictorial directories.  It will be a big festive Sunday and I hope you will be able to join us.

As part of our Joshua Celebration we will have a special collection for our New Chairs for What’s Next family challenge. We are asking families to help the church replace outdated, heavy and bulky chairs with new, lightweight and more durable chairs so we can offer more seating and grow our community.
